Sebastian was born on 26th October 1981 in Selangor, Malaysia. Sebastian was born to Ivan and Nellie. He has 3 brothers, namely Ollie, Chris, and Jeremy. They were initially settled in India but later on moved to Australia when he was six years old. Since childhood, he used to take violin and guitar lessons. He was also a worship singer at the Paradise Community Church. Sebastian attended the University of South Australia learning Medical Radiation but quit to pursue a career in music. He used to teach vocals at Temple Christian College as he was studying Music Technology at the University of Adelaide’s Elder School of Music. Guy Sebastian got married to Jules Egan in Sydney. They met while they were auditioning for Australian Idol. They have been married for seventeen years and have two sons together, Hudson and Archer. Sebastian participated in Australian Idol in 2003 and had established a strong fanbase and also won the competition.
